Psychiatric Urgent Response Program is an emergency service that provides appointments for patients with mental health concerns who do not have a psychiatrist. Patients must be referred into the program by an emergency doctor or a psychiatric liaison nurse in the emergency department

Eligibility
Appointments are one time for patients with mental health concerns who do not have a psychiatrist and include a psychiatric consultation up to 30 minutes long. The appointment may be followed up with an appointment for a medication review.
Referral
Patients must be referred by an emergency doctor or a psychiatric liaison nurse in the emergency department.
