Overdose prevention services aim to prevent unregulated drug poisoning events and deaths, and reduce the adverse health, social and economic consequences associated with substance use.

A first of its kind Overdose Prevention Site is located within a Mental Health Centre in White Rock/South Surrey. The Overdose Prevention Site operates outside of regular hours of the Mental Health Centre and is operated by Sources Community Services Society, an accredited organization that has been delivering substance use services on the Peninsula for 20 years.
