Willingdon Care Centre is primarily an English speaking home. Some of our employees speak a variety of different languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, Tagalog and Cantonese.
The centre has 95 publicly subsidized long-term care beds. There are nine single occupancy rooms, 23 double occupancy rooms and 10 multiple occupancy rooms.
Features
| Room features | Rooms include a bed, closet, bed side table, towels and linens. With approval residents may also bring a radio, television, personal furniture, pictures and plants as space allows. |
| Accessibility | All areas are wheelchair accessible. Scooters cannot be accommodated. |
| Security | The centre is fitted with a WanderGuard system and key padded doors and elevators for security. |
| Smoking | This is a non-smoking care community. |
| Parking and transportation | Parking is available at the front of the building. Public transit nearby. |
| Additional site features | There is a large, secured outdoor courtyard with sidewalks and park benches. The centre also has large grassy areas with umbrellas for shade, flower planters and hanging baskets. |
Programs
| Social and recreation programs | Recreation programs take place seven-days-a-week. Music, cultural activities, crafts, body and mind fitness, social events, interactive games and karaoke are some of the activities available at the centre. |
| Spiritual program | Eucharist services are onsite. A chaplain visits the centre to conduct Catholic, Methodist and United Church services. |
| Pets | Visiting pets are permitted with pre-approval. |

| Hairdressing | Hair salon or barber available once a week with associated fee. |
| Foot and nail care | Foot care services are available once per week with associated fee. |
