Kinsmen Lodge is a not-for-profit care community that has provided care to Surrey seniors with complex health issues since 1975.
Our goal is to eliminate loneliness, helplessness and boredom by providing compassionate care and recreation services that strive to maintain their dignity, independence, safety while always treating them with respect.
Our care community is built on the Eden Philosophy of Care including 157 rooms of which 143 are private and seven double rooms each with a wheelchair accessible washroom and bedroom furniture. Elders are welcome to personalize their room with pictures and furniture. Kinsmen Lodge has several VIP's (Very Important Pets) that visit the Elders regularly.

| Room features | Each room has a private washroom, bed, night table, wardrobe, chair and areas to personalize the room for the individual. Elders are encouraged to bring in small pieces of furniture, pictures, blankets, seasonal clothing and special items for the memory box (glass case) located at the room entrance. | Parking and transportation | Paid parking onsite. There is plenty of public parking available on the side streets and underground at nearby buildings. |
| Additional site features | Common area lounge with air-conditioning, television, telephone and Wi-Fi. Volunteer services, interpreters and translation services and onsite supplemental food services (Bistro, Café, etc.) available. |
Programs
| Social and recreation programs | There is an active resident council, recreation seven-days-a-week, a music therapist, art therapist and horticultural activities in addition to the regular recreation activities. |
| Spiritual program | Our Pastor is onsite three days a week and provides spiritual guidance to over 30 faiths. We have weekly communion, monthly Sikh drums and regular choirs and visits from several religious communities. |
| Pets | Pets permitted onsite. Pet therapy available. Kinsmen Lodge has several pets including three cats, three rabbits, five birds and several fish in the neighbourhoods and the pond in the back garden. Pets can visit provided on leash until assessed. |

| Additional services | For an additional fee, there is mobile dentist, hearing aid services, optometry services, walker and wheelchair tune-up services, companion services, rehabilitation services, physiotherapy and occupational therapy available by appointment. Onsite social worker and gift/tuck shop also available. |
