The Chronic Pain Clinic offers pain management through assessment, care and education by a team of health professionals for adults experiencing chronic pain.
Who are we?
We are a team of health care professionals – physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists and registered nurses - that provide pain management through assessment, care, education and research.
What do we offer?
Our approach to managing pain is to teach self-management.
We offer education in group settings focused on improving quality of life and decreasing pain through exercise, lifestyle changes, mood management, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness strategies.
Our pain specialist physicians provide individualized care and medical procedures (if indicated). Our physicians and pharmacists offer medication recommendations for you and your family doctor. And our clinicians offer personalized one-to-one sessions.
Please note: the Chronic Pain Clinic consultative services are not intended for long-term follow-up. The clinic does not prescribe medications, including opioids, but may provide physician/pharmacist consultation on prescribing. There are no addiction services offered at the Chronic Pain Clinic.
