The Family Support Services team provides services to families, friends and natural supports (FANS) who are supporting another adult living with mental health and/or substance use concerns.
Support services include:
- Individual coaching with clinical counsellor or family peer (up to 8 sessions)
- Psycho-education
- Skills and information groups
- Support groups
- System navigation
- Wellness planning

Hours of operation
Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m.
Sometimes, we offer appointments, group sessions or events in the evening.
Access
Eligibility
You can use our services if all of the following are true for you:
- You are an adult.
- You are providing unpaid support to an adult who is living with mental health and/or substance use concerns
- You or the person you support live in the Fraser Health area, which is from Burnaby to Boston Bar.
