The terms of this Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) form part of the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program Terms and Conditions.
In this Privacy Policy, the terms “Fraser Health,” “Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program,” “us,” “we,” or “our” refer to Fraser Health Authority, which owns all of the rights to the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program. The term “you” or “your” refers to a user of a Eyáleq’ep Reward Card. The term “Eyáleq’ep Reward Card” has the meaning given to it in the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program Terms and Conditions.
The personal information we collect and use from you for Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program is protected under the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
Personal information and privacy
The Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program may collect personal information from you through your use of the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program website. By using the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program you consent to Fraser Health and its vendors’ collection and use of the personal information that you provide on the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program website.
If you provide any information to us, you are ensuring all information and data you provide is accurate and true. You are responsible for your account information, including your password.
Collecting and using your personal information
You can access and use Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program without telling us who you are or revealing any information by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual. You may request the cashier to read out the reward points balance by presenting your physical Eyáleq’ep Reward Card at a point-of-sale. Cashiers do not have access to your personal information at the point-of-sale, or via any other system.
If you wish to open an account through our Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program and use some of its features, you may be asked to provide us with certain personal information, such as your:
- first name
- last name
- mobile phone number
- email address
- 16-digit card number
- postal code
- birth date
We receive and store any personal information you accept to provide to us when you complete any forms on the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program, such as in the following circumstances:
- when you purchase a Eyáleq’ep Reward Card
- when you become a member of our Eyáleq’ep Rewards Program
- tracking your reward points
- when you choose to receive Eyáleq’ep Rewards Program marketing materials
- when you contact us to ask a question, file a complaint or provide feedback
We receive and store any (personal) information you provide through our service providers, DataCandy (a division of Paystone Inc.) and Tacit Innovations Inc.
Personal information may be used to track your reward points.
If you have an account and you log in to with our Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in to the with our Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Promotional emails
If you provide the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program website with your date of birth, we may send you promotions on your birthday. If you do not use your Reward Card for a period of time, we may send you a promotional email to encourage you to use it again.
Analytics
We may analyze your data for the purposes of generating promotional offers.
How long we retain your data
If you register your Eyáleq’ep Reward Card through the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time. Our internal website administrators are able to see and edit your information. Our service providers, DataCandy (a division of Paystone Inc.) and Tacit Innovations Inc., access your information solely for the purposes of hosting our Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program website, storing and analyzing any Eyáleq’ep Reward Card information you provide to us.
If you don’t use your Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program account for 24 months, your data will be anonymized and we will no longer be able to access your personal information. If you create a new account after that time, you may be asked if you want to associate your card with the new account. If your Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program account is anonymized you will not lose your reward points; however, you will need the 16 digit number on your Reward Card to be able to reactivate your Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program website account or to associate a new Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program account with your Reward Card.
Your rights to your data
If you have an account on our Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you except for data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
For administration of the Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program, our service provider DataCandy (a division of Paystone Inc.) has access to Eyáleq’ep Reward Card Program website data and metadata but not your personal information. It stores the card data and metadata so we can send you promotional emails and analyze Eyáleq’ep Reward Card usage. Our service provider Tacit Innovations Inc. stores your personal information on servers in Canada. It accesses the personal information you provide only with respect to your use of your Eyáleq’ep Reward Card.

We protect your data by ensuring our service providers who have store or access to your information are bound by our privacy requirements.
By providing your information to us, you consent to us, collecting, storing and/or using your personal information with our third party vendors for the purposes outlined above. If we will use, collect or share your Personal Information for any other purpose, we will ask for your consent before doing so or at the time the information is collected.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time without specific notice to you by updating this posting.
