Lee Loftus has extensive governance and leadership experience in the B.C. construction sector, as well as in community, labour and business environments, spanning over four decades.
Lee is active on numerous boards with a focus on workforce development, mental health, climate research and medical research. He is currently president and co-chair of SkillPlan’s Board, co-chair of the Board of the Construction Industry Rehabilitation Plan and member of the Board of Directors of the Community Savings Credit Union. He has served as president, executive board member and member of various organizations, including WorkSafeBC, BC Building Trades Council, Insulation Industry Apprenticeship Board, the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, the Canadian Standards Association and the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering.
A King Charles III Coronation Medal recipient, Lee recently received the award recognizing his positive impact on Canada and his community in the areas of environment, sustainability and diversity.
