Mission Urgent and Primary Care Centre

A new urgent and primary care centre opened in May 2024, providing people in the Mission area with increased access to team-based, comprehensive primary care.

The centre serves two purposes. The first is to provide urgent primary care services to people living in the community who need to see a health care provider within 12 to 24 hours, but do not require an emergency department. The second purpose is to help attach residents to regular full-service primary care providers in the community for their long-term planned primary care.

The Mission UPCC, co-located with the Mission Public Health Unit, forms a comprehensive hub for health and wellness. This partnership allows us to deliver a wide range of coordinated programs and resources, empowering the community to achieve and maintain optimal health.
