Planning Award for Patient-Oriented Research and Knowledge Translation
This award will support research teams in partnering with patients and stakeholders to plan research studies or knowledge translation projects in the Fraser Salish region. Two awards of $10,000 each are available for a nine-month period.
The application deadline is March 31, 2020.
Yɑ:y̓əstəl̓ Award
The Yɑ:y̓əstəl̓ Award (pronounced YA-YA STELL) will support teams in partnering with Indigenous communities in the Fraser region. These teams will plan research projects and carry out the pilot and feasibility-testing activities to inform future applications for more comprehensive patient-oriented research grants.
Two awards of $30,000 each will be awarded (total $60,000) for 8 months.
The application deadline is April 15, 2020.
Research Support Award
The purpose of this funding opportunity is to provide a team that includes a Simon Fraser University (SFU) academic and a Fraser Health clinician or decision-maker with funds to engage a SFU undergraduate or graduate student as a research assistant. The research assistant will support a patient-oriented research or knowledge translation project taking place in the Fraser region.
Five awards of $9,700 each will be awarded.
