Immunization from a Public Health Unit
Call to book an appointment. Telephone booking is available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Immunization from a pharmacist
Pharmacists can immunize people aged 4 years and older. Contact your pharmacy in advance to check availability of vaccines or to book an appointment.

If you get immunized at a pharmacy:- If available, bring your immunization record to ensure all due or overdue immunizations are provided. Immunization records can be accessed through Health Gateway or by Public Health. Click here to learn more.

Immunization from your family doctor or nurse practitioner
Some family doctors and nurse practitioners offer immunizations. Contact your doctor or nurse to find out if they offer immunization.
If you get immunized by your family doctor or nurse practitioner:

School immunization clinics
School-age children and teens are offered routine vaccines at clinics held at their school, usually in Grade 6 and 9. These vaccines are provided for free by nurses working in Public Health.
Students who miss school vaccine clinics or are home-schooled can contact their local public health unit, family doctor, nurse practitioner or pharmacy for an appointment. Be sure to call ahead as services can vary. Bring the personal vaccine history record sent by public health to ensure you receive all due or overdue immunizations. -
HPV Community Clinics
As part of B.C.’s Provincial Cancer Action Plan, Fraser Health will be offering the HPV vaccine to all students in all schools (public and independent) in grades 6-12 who do not have record of getting the vaccine.
Public Health is currently offering drop-in immunizations for youth in grades 6-12 at:
- Foundry Ridge Meadows, 22932 Lougheed Hwy, Maple Ridge. Wednesdays, 3:00-6:00pm. For youth in grades 6-12.
- Langley Foundry, 20616 Eastleigh Cres., Langley. Third Wednesday of each month, 3:00-6:00pm. For youth in grades 6-12.
- Chilliwack Public Health Unit, 45470 Menholm Road, Chilliwack – drop-in clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-5:30 pm

Influenza (Flu) and COVID-19 immunizations
Influenza and COVID-19 vaccines are provided by pharmacists (for those four years and older), public health units, and some primary care providers.
Appointments at pharmacies and public health units are booked through B.C.’s Get Vaccinated system. Anyone who is registered with the provincial Get Vaccinated system will be sent an invitation and booking link for their influenza (flu) and COVID-19 vaccine via text or email. If you have not registered previously, visit the Get Vaccinated system to register. Alternately, you can call 1-833-838-2323 to register and book appointments.
You can also call your primary care provider to see if they have flu and COVID-19 vaccines available and then book an appointment.
Vaccines that are not part of B.C.’s routine immunization schedules are not free. These vaccines can be provided at a cost by your doctor, pharmacist or travel clinic.
