School immunization clinics
School-age children and teens are offered routine vaccines at clinics held at their school. These vaccines are provided for free by nurses working in Public Health.
Students who miss school vaccine clinics or are home-schooled can contact their local public health unit, family doctor, nurse practitioner or pharmacy for an appointment. Be sure to call ahead as services can vary.
If immunizations are provided at a pharmacy, family doctor or nurse practitioner:
- Please bring the personal vaccine history record sent by public health to ensure all due or overdue immunizations are provided.
- After the appointment, report the immunizations online at fraserhealth.ca/immunizationform. Vaccines that are not part of B.C.’s routine immunization schedules are not free. These vaccines can be provided at a cost by your doctor, pharmacist or travel clinic.
Respiratory season
Influenza and COVID-19 vaccines can be provided by your doctor, pharmacist (for those four years and older) or public health nurse. Getting your flu vaccine provides information on booking your vaccinations.
