For Abbotsford Regional Hospital

When you get a call for cancer screening, it creates anxiety for the patients, and you know something is happening. I had my interview (assessment) with Nurse Rose yesterday for a procedure. She did an absolutely fabulous job. She communicated very well and was very interactive and informative.

For Burnaby Hospital

I had surgery at Burnaby Hospital and all the nurses were amazing. Most notably, Amy in Surgical Daycare made me smile and June in the Post-Anesthetic Care Unit comforted me at my bedside, gave me words of encouragement, shared life advice and made me feel like I would excel in my recovery. Thank you, health care workers, and the hard-working trades people working in the hospital.

For Chilliwack General Hospital

A very special thank you to the care provided by Dr. Deacon. His bedside manner was one of the best I have seen. Being a nurse myself, I hope that means a lot, since I work with a lot of doctors. He was very compassionate and personable during a very difficult time for me. A special thanks as well to Tracy (the manager), Debbie (the patient care coordinator) and nurses in the Emergency Department and Post-Anesthetic Care Unit. Their kindness won’t be forgotten.

For the Edmonds Urgent and Primary Care Centre

I want to compliment Nurse Isabella on being wonderful when treating and following up on my ear ailment. She proactively phoned me to schedule a follow up for an appointment with a doctor the next day, once she realized one would be available after doing her best to try to resolve my issue the previous night. Thank you and I appreciate your kindness.

For the Metrotown Urgent and Primary Care Centre

My daughter got bit by a dog. I didn't know what to do, then I thought of the Metrotown Urgent and Primary Care Centre. Before heading there, I was still so worried about the long wait and whether people there could help me. I'm glad that I went. I didn't need to wait for a long time. The nurse was so helpful. She explained the situation to me patiently and answered all my questions. I want to express my gratitude to her.

For Royal Columbian Hospital

I was in the Emergency Department. Unfortunately, I can’t remember any names, but the whole staff, especially the emergency doctor, were very kind and, most importantly, validated my concerns and treated me with respect, empathy and understanding.
