Construction Notice for Neighbours 

What's happening?

• The City of New Westminster has approved a noise bylaw exemption for every Saturday 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025, excluding statutory holidays and Saturday, December 28, 2024, for construction at Royal Columbian Hospital.
• On Saturday mornings, EllisDon will be working on exterior cladding as well as interior finishes. There will also be some deliveries of equipment and materials.
• To minimize noise, EllisDon will ensure its sub-trades avoid the use of any excessive noise-generating tools or vehicles.

How will this affect you?

• You should not notice any changes to construction noise on Saturday mornings. The 7 a.m. start is the same as it has been since May 2021.
• You may notice some noise generated from delivery trucks and/or exterior cladding work.
