Work is underway on all floors of the Jim Pattison Acute Care Tower. Watch our latest drone video to see our construction progress.
Construction workers continue to install flooring, wall protection and paint on all levels of the Jim Pattison Acute Care Tower and are working towards completing entire departments. The outside of the building is looking more finished as we get closer to reaching the substantial completion milestone expected in 2025. Each day, we have as many as 900 workers building the new tower. Thousands will be involved over the course of the project. We appreciate the dedication of everyone involved in designing and building the future of health care.

Update on road work
(Photo) Crosswalk at the corner of East Columbia Street and Keary Street
Our construction partners continue to make progress on upgrading East Columbia Street as part of the City of New Westminster's 'Great Street' project. They are now working on the east side of the street by Keary Street. We will continue to ensure that there is access to the Emergency Department at all times during this work. Please give yourself extra time when driving through the area. Work on the hospital service lane is still in progress. We are currently reviewing options for handrails for the new multi-use path and now expect it to open later this fall. We apologize for any inconvenience.
