Construction Notice

What's happening?

• We are working in partnership with Wesgroup Contracting Ltd. to test soil and confirm the location of utilities outside Royal Columbian Hospital as part of the next phase of the redevelopment project.
• This work will take place on April 8 and April 10 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the grassy area west of the hospital parkade outside the hospital cafeteria.
• On April 10, Wesgroup will use their existing Building 8 construction crane to lift soil drilling equipment into and out of position.
• There will be single lane alternating traffic on Keary Street for the duration of this work.
• There will be a detour for the sidewalk.

Impacts to you:

• You may experience delays when using Keary Street on April 8 and 10.
• There will be no parking near the work area.
• Pedestrians may need to use a temporary sidewalk.
• The hospital parkade will remain open.
• Obey all traffic control personnel for your own safety.
