Construction Notice

What's happening?

• We will be paving Sherbrooke Street and East Columbia Street as part of the City of New Westminster’s ‘Great Street’ project. See map and schedule below.
• The East Columbia Street paving will take place overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.to minimize impacts on traffic.  At this time, East Columbia Street will have a single lane open to alternating traffic.
• Sherbrooke Street from East Columbia Street to Garrett Street will be closed to all traffic except for hospital delivery trucks on April 14 from 7 a.m.to 5 p.m. 

When is this happening?

• Dates and times are subject to change.

Impacts to you:

• Expect delays on East Columbia Street during the specified dates and times.
• Sherbrooke Street will be closed on the specified date and time. Kelly Street and Fader Street will be open to local traffic only from Major Street.
• Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic. Please obey instructions.
